Ingredients

  • 500 g daikon (white radish)
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  • Peel the daikon and cut into wedges.
  • Preheat oven to 225 degrees C.
  • Pre-cook the daikon wedges by boiling them in water for approx. 30 minutes or until softened. 
  • Pour off the water and place the wedges on a baking sheet. Toss with oil, salt and pepper. 
  • Bake until golden and crisp, 30 minutes or longer.
