Karelian Hot Pot Keto, or karjalanpaisti as it's originally called, is a traditional dish from Finland. Since my partner has family in Finland this lovely dish was introduced into my life. The dish reminds me of a traditional Swedish dish called Kalops, but in this one you use both pork and beef.

Ingredients
- 500 g pork but
- 500 g beef chuck
- 2 onions
- 5-10 black peppercorns
- 5 bay leaves
- Salt
- Water
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 150 degrees.
- Cut all the meat into cubes (3x3 cm).
- Place the meat in an ovenware. There is no need to fry the meat first.
- Chop up two onions and place in the ovenware together with the meat.
- Season with a generous amount of salt, add 5-10 black peppercorns and 5 bay leaves.
- Add enough cold water to cover all of the ingredients. Cover with tinfoil.
- Place the ovenware in the oven and cook for 8 hours.
