Ingredients

  • 1 kg pork but
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 2 garlic cloves (finely chopped)
  • 2 tbsp thyme
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  • Chop the meat into smaller pieces (cubes). 
  • Move the cubes into a large bowl and mix with the remaining ingredients until all pieces are covered with marinade. 
  • Place plastic foil over the meat and store in the fridge for 4 hours.
  • Place the meat on skewers. Barbecue for 6 minutes or until they have a nice color. You can also cook your souvlaki in the oven at 225 degrees C for about 20-25 minutes.
