Ingredients

  • 500 g chicken breast
  • 1/2 head of cauliflower
  • 1 onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 chicken stock cube
  • 2 tsp sambal oelek (chili paste)
  • 1 cup fresh cream
  • 1/2 cup creme fraiche
  • 1/2 pot fresh basil
  • 1 bell pepper (chopped)
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • Salt and pepper
  • 25 g Butter to fry in

Instructions

  • Finely chop onion, garlic and chicken. Divide one head of cauliflower into smaller florets. 
  • Heat up a frying-pan with butter to medium heat.
  • Add onion, garlic, chicken and cauliflower. Fry until the onion is translucent.
  • Add 1/2 cup of water, 1 chicken stock cube and 2 tsp sambal oelek. Let simmer for about 5 minutes. Make sure the chicken is cooked fully through.
  • Add 1 cup of fresh cream, 1/2 cup of creme fraiche, 1 chopped bell pepper and 1/2 pot of finely chopped fresh basil.
  • Bring to a boil and let simmer until the sauce has thickened enough.
  • Serve with sides of your liking!
