Ingredients
- 500 g chicken breast
- 1/2 head of cauliflower
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 chicken stock cube
- 2 tsp sambal oelek (chili paste)
- 1 cup fresh cream
- 1/2 cup creme fraiche
- 1/2 pot fresh basil
- 1 bell pepper (chopped)
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- Salt and pepper
- 25 g Butter to fry in
Instructions
- Finely chop onion, garlic and chicken. Divide one head of cauliflower into smaller florets.
- Heat up a frying-pan with butter to medium heat.
- Add onion, garlic, chicken and cauliflower. Fry until the onion is translucent.
- Add 1/2 cup of water, 1 chicken stock cube and 2 tsp sambal oelek. Let simmer for about 5 minutes. Make sure the chicken is cooked fully through.
- Add 1 cup of fresh cream, 1/2 cup of creme fraiche, 1 chopped bell pepper and 1/2 pot of finely chopped fresh basil.
- Bring to a boil and let simmer until the sauce has thickened enough.
- Serve with sides of your liking!
