With this Chia Jam Recipe you can make your own sugar free jam with your favorite berry! The jam can be stored in the fridge for up to two weeks. The recipe is simple to make and only takes 15 minutes to cook.
Servings 15 servings
- 2 cups frozen strawberries
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- Cook the stawberries until the fruit breaks down and becomes syrupy, 5 to 10 minutes. Mash the fruit with the back of a spatula or a potato masher, leaving it as smooth or as lumpy as you like.
- Stir in the chia seeds.
- Let stand 5 minutes, until thickened: This won't quite reach the firm consistency of regular jam, but it will noticeably thicken.
- Once the jam has cooled to room temperature, transfer it to a jar or other storage container. The jam can be stored in the fridge for 2 weeks.
