Ingredients
- 3 boneless chicken breasts
- 1 broccoli
- 1 cup creme fraiche
- 1/2 cup fresh cream
- 3/4 cup ajvar
- 1 tbsp chicken fond
- 3 cloves garlic
- Salt and pepper
- Butter to fry in
- 100 g cherry tomatoes
- 100 g spinach
- 1-2 cups shredded cheese
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 225 degrees.
- Slice the chicken breasts into 1-inch thick strips.
- Heat butter in a large skillet over medium/high heat. Once pan is hot, add chicken and saute until golden.
- Transfer chicken to a casserole baking dish and add broccoli.
- Heat butter in a small sauce pan and add chopped garlic. Saute for a few minutes on low-medium heat and add creme fraiche, fresh cream, chicken fond and ajvar.
- Bring to a boil and then pour sauce over the chicken and broccoli.
- Top with cherry tomatoes, spinach and shredded cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake casserole at 225 degrees for 25 minutes.
